Jamie’s Transmission is a family owned and operated business. Born and raised in the Everett and Sultan valley area, Jamie started his business in a shop on his farm in the small town of Snohomish where he, his wife and 3 sons lived and went to school. Very involved with his family and his community he coached Little League Football for 7 years and coached his oldest son in Freestyle Wrestling from the age of 6. He sponsors the local Little League and High School teams as well as Snohomish County Search and Rescue, the Snohomish Food Bank and other local organizations. He has always had a love of auto mechanics and started in the Transmission Specialty business at the age of 17. He worked for and managed a Transmission shop in Everett for 13 years before starting his own in 1988. He out grew the shop at home after 2 years and moved to his place of business on Maple Avenue in Snohomish in 1990 and has been there ever since. His motives for having his own business have not wavered in the 28 years since he opened. Professional Quality with a Personal Touch.
“We take the time to listen to our customers concerns and to assure them that they will be taken care of here. They may come in as customers, but they leave as friends.” Jamie’s Transmission is one of the cleanest and most organized auto repair facilities in the area. We are also very proud to serve our community by providing our knowledgeable services to the Snohomish County Sheriff, Park and Recreation and other Divisions by repairing their vehicles and keeping them on the road. Jamie is also very proud of his son Jaden who has been working at the shop with him since 2006.
Jaden started working at the shop in High School sweeping and cleaning, helping with Services etc. He worked odd jobs for a few years and later came on full time as an R& R Mechanic. It didn’t take him long to work his way up to being one of our best Transmission Rebuild Mechanics. He keeps up his skills and knowledge by attending the ATSG Seminars in the area and has begun helping Jamie with the Managing aspect of the business as well. He enjoys building the Heavy Duty Tow Transmissions and the High Performance and Race Transmissions as well.
Kelly is Jamie’s cousin and they have been working together since High School. He has 30 + years in the Transmission trade and is our Senior Builder. He attends the ATSG Seminars in the area and stays up to date with all the latest techniques and knowledge as the Transmissions have changed over the years. He also is our Classic and “Old School” Transmission Specialist.
